01 · What we offer

DraftGuard AI provides software-as-a-service tools for analyzing and rewriting draft text. The tools include a Risk Check workspace, a Cliché Hunter, a Sentence Rewrite tool, a Citation Coach, and a Tone Calibrator. New tools may be added or retired at our discretion.

02 · What we don't offer

We do not offer:

• Detector-bypass services or any guarantee that text will pass an AI detector, plagiarism checker, or academic integrity tool.
• Plagiarism detection against any database. Our tools do not match your text to any external corpus.
• Generation of citations, sources, statistics, or personal experiences. The system is instructed to refuse, and our responsibility ends at that instruction.

03 · Responsible use

You agree not to use DraftGuard to:

• Submit work to a teacher, employer, or institution that you cannot, in good faith, defend as your own.
• Evade or misrepresent yourself to any academic integrity system.
• Generate content intended to deceive a reader about its authorship, sources, or factual basis.
• Process content that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates another person's rights.

If our system detects unsafe-intent phrasing in your input (e.g. "bypass turnitin"), we will redirect rather than process the request. Repeated attempts may result in termination of your account or rate-limit denial.

04 · Ownership of output

You own the text you paste in. You own the rewrites you accept. We claim no rights to your drafts or our suggestions applied to your drafts. The model providers may have their own terms regarding output; we surface their policies in our Privacy page.

05 · Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account email and login method secure. If you believe someone accessed your account without permission, contact us promptly. We may suspend or limit accounts that violate these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the AI Use Policy.

06 · Payment & refunds

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds, credit-pack rules, and cancellation details are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Taxes, currency conversion fees, and bank or card charges may be handled by Stripe or your payment provider and may not be refundable by DraftGuard.

07 · No warranty

The service is provided "as is." Risk readings are estimates, not guarantees. Rewrites may occasionally change the meaning of your sentence — review carefully before replacing. We make no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose, including any specific academic, professional, or detector-related outcome.

08 · Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DraftGuard's aggregate liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages — including academic outcomes, professional outcomes, or any loss arising from a third party's interpretation of your output.

09 · Changes

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced on the landing page and in active-subscription email at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
